When I finished watching Teen Wolf for the first time in 2017, the year I turned 20, I wanted to create more for these characters. The second half of the sixth season was still to air, but I wasn't wasting time. I wrote my own story - Teen Wolf: Sabotage - with the existing cast, as well as the return of my favourite character (Isaac) and some new creations. I kept going, writing five stories over the course of 2017 and 2018.
What was remarkable about Teen Wolf: Sabotage is that it was the first story I had written in over five years. I had a newfound motivation, and with more experience of seeing characters created on TV and in print, I was able to develop my work to a higher standard, which was imperative after having years to reflect on Primeval Stories.
Working on Claws Out brought my Teen Wolf stories to an end, but if nothing else, it served as an excellent warm-up for the stories I wrote afterwards, while developing characters that I adored from one of my favourite TV shows.
